Fair Wages

At our production facilities in Vietnam, wages above the collective bargaining rate are paid according to a tiered wage system. These wages depend on qualifications and length of service.

Fair Working Hours

A 6-day workweek applies, with daily working hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including a 1.5-hour break.

Fair and transparent production, as confirmed by SA8000 certification, means fair wages, fair working hours, fair overtime pay, fair vacation policy, fair working conditions, fair opportunities for continuing education and professional development, and fair internal company policies.

Employees who are interested meet after work for a yoga class.

Fair Overtime Pay

Overtime is agreed upon with the trade union on a long-term basis and compensated at a higher rate.

Fair Vacation Policy

There is a 14-day company vacation, the date of which is coordinated with the trade union. This is supplemented by 13 national holidays. If one of these holidays falls on a Sunday, an additional day off is granted.

Fair Working Conditions

We have established European manufacturing standards in our plants. Our employees work on modern machines, with modern tools, and using up-to-date software.

Meals are prepared fresh every day in the company cafeteria.

Fair Opportunities for Continuing Education and Professional Development

We regularly offer continuing education and training programs that allow our employees to gain new qualifications. These courses also enable employees to be classified into a higher pay grade.

Fair Internal Company Policies

We comply with all legal regulations regarding employee participation in company decision-making, social security, health care, continued pay during sick leave, maternity protection, and the training of underage employees.

The social standard was called into being in 1997 by the non-profit-making organization SAI (Social Accountability International, registered office in New York). It enables companies with own production to prove social responsibility and demands the most comprehensive and most far-reaching standards. These are based on national laws, on the human rights conventions of the United Nations and the working norms of the ILO (International Labor Organization).
